Second lunar mission of ISRO : chandrayaan-2
It's about India's moon mission chandrayaan-2. this mission successfully accomplished on 22nd of july 2019.
It is launched in it's second attempt because a technical snag was observed in the first attempt. The first launch date planned for chandrayaan-2 is 15th of july 2019.

History of ISRO.
Indian space research organization was formed in 1969, it is a space organization of the government of India (GOV),ISRO has a headquarter in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Department of space (DOS) is a parent organization of ISRO. The first satellite built by ISRO was aryabhata which was launched by soviet union on 19 April, 1975.
The primary rocket launch centre of ISRO is Satish Dhawan space centre which is at Sriharikota and the next space port is Vikram sarabhai space centre (VSSC) which is located in Thiruvananthapuram.
The old or previous name of ISRO is Indian National committee for space research (INCOSPAR), it was established in 1962.

This mission was led by Indian space research organisation (ISRO) chief K Sivan. The chairperson of the Indian space research organisation (ISRO), K Sivan was born in 1957 (April).
He also served as a director of the Vikram Sarabhai space center. He is from Tamilnadu, India.
Kailasavadivoo Sivan joined Indian space research organization in the year 1982. At first, he participated in polar satellite launch vehicle (PSLV) project. He was appointed as a chief of Indian space research organisation in the year 2018 (January).

Ritu karidhal is a mission director of chandrayaan-2 she started working in isro from 1997, she is working in isro for more than two decades. Ritu karidhal was born in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
Chandrayaan-2 consists of orbiter,lander and Rover.
The chandrayaan-2 consists of a rover which is called as pragyan and a lander named as vikram and an orbiter. India is going to be the fourth country in the world to soft land on the moon(unmanned).
1)Orbiter.
Chandrayaan-2, Orbiter has a lifespan of 365 days.this orbiter will be able to communicate with isro(indian space research organization).it has a weight of about 2379 kg.
According to isro now orbiter will orbit around the moon for almost 7 years.
2) Lander.
India is the fourth country to soft land on moon after United States of America (USA), china and Russia.the lander named as Vikram in the memory of Dr. vikram sarabhai who is considered as father of Indian space program.the lander has a weight of 1471 kg.
3)Rover.
The rover is named as pragyan, it is a Sanskrit name which means wisdom or intelligence. pragyan (ROVER) has a weight of 27 kg.
The chandrayaan- 2 consists of a budget of 976 cr approx.
